These markets will be held on the 3rd Sunday of each month between 9am and 2pm with the exception of December/ January when a time change is planned from 3pm to 7pm to become a twilight market.
The Inaugural and much anticipated Gladstone Community "Earth, Water, Fire, Air" Markets will be held on Sunday from 9am to 2pm at Memorial Park, Gladstone, on the beautiful Macleay riverbank opposite the Heritage Hotel. The market will host quality, local, hand-picked stallholders. The markets will feature artists, ceramicist and a photographer, gourmet/fine foods including jams, preserves, chutney's and locally made muesli style products as well as handmade soaps and locally produced organic body products. There will also be local, professionally produced barista coffee as well as locally smoked fish products including yellow- fin tuna and trout. Another taste temptation will be gourmet ready- to-eat pies. There will also be native plants, entertainment provided by talented, local musicians and performers as well as entertainment for the children including face-painting, jumping castle, pony rides.
Come along and enjoy a day full of fun, atmosphere and guaranteed quality produce on the riverbank in the unique, historical village of Gladstone. A two day event featuring competition for 15year olds and seniors. The 23rd Annual Triathlon will start at the Trial Bay Gaol Campground in the Arakoon State Recreation Area and consists of a 500m swim and a 26km bicycle ride and 6km run around picturesque Trial Bay. Race commences at 7.30am. There will be a T-Shirt to all entrants - Medallion to all Finishers. All proceeds go to local charities and community groups.
This Annual Event is always held on the 3rd Sunday of February each year.
